TechExchange is a non-profit, privately funded advocacy platform and forum for dialogue that connects British defence and Ukrainian DefenceTech and dual-use innovators, helping translate frontline experience into practical applications for the UK’s security, industrial and policy environment — while continuing to support Ukraine’s war effort and future reconstruction.
We do this by connecting cutting-edge companies, operators and experts from the UK and Ukraine to a network that accelerates innovation, capability development and real-world application. Ukrainian technologies gain visibility and structured access to UK stakeholders, while UK institutions gain insight into battlefield-proven systems and their practical deployment.
TechExchange brings together innovators, investors, government stakeholders and defence experts to collaborate on the application of cutting-edge technologies in critical security and resilience domains. While UK-Ukraine TechExchange was initially created with the view of supporting the most innovative British and Ukrainian tech companies helping Ukraine win, it has also become a vehicle to find the most exciting investment assets. The time companies spend with us receiving exclusive access to VCs, deep tech events, hyper relevant media opportunities and business development support where needed, allows me and other investors to get to know them better and make investment decisions.

Andriy Dovbenko is a Ukraine-born, London-based entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist, recognised as a leading connector between the UK and Ukrainian defence innovation ecosystems. He is the founder of UK–Ukraine TechExchange, a non-profit platform that brings together
policymakers, industry leaders and innovators to accelerate the adoption of technologies that save lives and strengthen Europe’s resilience.
With over two decades of experience across law, investment and technology, Andriy has held senior roles at PwC, EY and international law firms, before founding EVRIS Invest and EVRIS Asset Management.
Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, his work has focused on mobilising private capital, public dialogue and cross-border cooperation to support life-saving defence technologies and inform how these lessons can be applied beyond Ukraine.
Andriy has received extensive recognition for his sustained, hands-on support of Ukraine’s defence effort, including honours from military, civilian and religious institutions, acknowledging direct contributions to frontline operations and humanitarian initiatives.
