ABOUT TechExchange

Connects ecosystems
for the technology exchange between the UK and Ukraine
Unlocks
growth
for startups in AgriTech and DefenseTech industries
Supports
Ukraine
contributing to the rebuild of Ukraine's economy post-war
TechExchange is a non-profit privately-funded startup support programme which helps British and Ukrainian AgriTech and DefenceTech startups raise the investment they require, to keep contributing to the Ukraine’s war effort and future reconstruction.

We do this by connecting cutting edge startups from the UK and Ukraine to a network that can help to accelerate innovation and commercial growth in support of Ukraine now and also post-war. Ukrainian startups will be able to raise their international profile and access investment and networking opportunities through the UK's ecosystem, while UK companies can conduct in-field testing of new technologies in Ukraine.
As a Ukrainian I am laser-focused on contributing to the Ukraine's war effort in any way that I can.

I believe that supporting innovative tech is one of the key factors bringing Ukraine's victory closer. While DefenseTech is ultra important today, AgriTech will play a crucial role in rebuilding our country post-war. I am committing the work of UK-Ukraine TechExchange to supporting those companies whose technology has a real potential to save lives.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

As a UK-based investor of Ukrainian origin,
I am interested in identifying targets for equity investment.

While UK-Ukraine TechExchange was initially created with the view of supporting the most innovative British and Ukrainian tech companies helping Ukraine win, it has also become a vehicle to find the most exciting investment assets. The time companies spend with us receiving exclusive access to VCs, deep tech events, hyper relevant media opportunities and legal support where needed, allows me and other investors to get to know them better and make investment decisions.

ANDRIY DOVBENKO

Andriy Dovbenko is a Ukrainian-born and UK-based early-stage investor focused on helping tech startups in defense and agriculture - two sectors crucial to Ukraine - accelerate their commercial potential. He hopes to help Ukrainian startups achieve global impact, initially through access to the UK market while also discovering UK tech startups offering solutions that may benefit Ukraine.

Andriy began his career as a lawyer following a degree in jurisprudence from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. He eventually became a managing partner at an international law firm, later starting his own practice, Evris Law. He has also led technology investments in verticals such as fintech and agriculture. The combination of his technology investments and previous experience in the agricultural sector, has enabled Andriy to develop a particular understanding of how digital tools can be used to transform this industry.
